Even though YouTube Music, by the virtue of the content that it provides - music videos, live concerts, and cover songs - is unique, in India it also competes with a host of other music streaming services including Google very own Google Play Music. While there are number of music streaming services in India now, the arrival of YouTube Music is good news for Indian users. YouTube launched the YouTube Music in May last year in select countries including the US, Mexico, Australia, South Korea, and New Zealand last year and now nearly a year after its global debut the music streaming service is making its way into India.
